Father's Day Eve Dinner - BotRG style

Since on Father's Day this year we will be on river and getting home late I decided to "celebrate" Father's Day by cooking dinner and hanging with the family.



So for dinner we had Country Fried Steak w/ onion gravy & Eggs with roasted potatoes and squash medley.  Filling, belly happy making, and even covers the MyPLate needs!

Then for dessert we ate a bunch of orange sections and I taught Ryan a new trick.



Then, once the boys were in bed, and chores were about done, it was cocktail time.  Most of the evening I had on Ill Street Lounge, which just got me in the mood for cocktails!

I call this one - Strawberry Whisky Bitters.  Muddle strawberries, sugar, and ice together.  Add whisky and Boston shake style.  Strain and add water to taste.  Bingo Bammo baby.
